Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Pickup from the airport

Entebbe international airport will be your arrival destination. You should get an entry permit if you do not have one. A representative from travel Gorge tours will welcome you, brief you about the safari and then transfer you to your accommodation in Kampala where you will dine and spend the night.

Day 2: Transfer from Kampala to Sipi Falls

You will leave for Sipi falls which is located in Kapchorwa district North East of Mbale as well Sironko driving through the town of Jinja, right after your breakfast. The convenience of its location at Mount Elgon’s foothills makes it a very beautiful town. It is filled with fascinating as well as lavish culture. Before advancing to Sipi village, we take a lunch break in Mbale and also enjoy the impressive scenery from the view points as you make your way to sipi village.

Day 3: Explore Sipi Falls

You will have time to explore the Sipi Falls and hike to the top of the falls. The further you go to the base of the famous waterfalls, the more marvelous the walk becomes. You will then proceed to explore a number of caves with an abrupt steep incline. You shall go through banana plantations as you continue along the unclear track to different waterfalls. Return to the lodge for a nice lunch. During the afternoon You will visit the coffee project and the site where some of the world’s finest coffee is processed; don’t miss out on an opportunity to delight in a cup of fresh brewed coffee. Return for dinner and the night’s rest at your accommodation.

Day 4: Transfer from Sipi falls to Kitgum

After taking breakfast early in the morning you will then proceed with your safari and head northwards. The long drive includes going through various traditional villages as well as landscapes offering very attractive scenery. In the afternoon, you reach Kitgum and check into accommodation. The rest of the day will be spent at leisure as you relax from the log drive.

Day 5: Transfer from Kitgum to Kidepo Valley National Park

After having an unrushed breakfast, you will Travel in your vehicle to Kidepo National park which is situated close to the border of Uganda and Sudan. You will take your lunch within the reserve at your booked lodging. Delight in the beautiful park sceneries as well as a short game drive in the park during the afternoon.

Day 6: Explore Kidepo Valley National Park

Although it is situated in some of the country’s’ isolated places, you will spend the whole day in the most beautiful park of Uganda. You will explore Narus River while taking a game drive in the morning. Elephants, ostriches, zebras as well as giraffes are some of the animals you should look forward to seeing. Kidepo valley facilities more than 470 bird species making it a great haven for birders. You will have an opportunity of meeting the people of Karamoja at Karema as well as Kapedo while taking a cultural walk in the afternoon. Day 7: Transfer from Kidepo Valley to Murchison falls National Park

Today you will have breakfast very early in the morning, check out of your accommodation and thereafter begin the journey to Murchison falls national park from Kidepo. The enormous River Nile is positioned in the southern part and you will enter the park from the North. As you go across the grasslands of Savannah, lookout for elephants, buffaloes, hartebeests as well as the Uganda Kobs. You will stay the night and have dinner at your accommodation.

Day 8: explore Murchison falls National Park

Following breakfast taken early morning, you will explore the Northern park shores, and see the wildlife in its natural setting. You will encounter several animals including lions, different antelopes, buffaloes, elephants and so many others in addition to various bird species.

Return for lunch at your lodge and in the afternoon Stand a chance to see wildlife face to face living on the banks of the River Nile as you proceed on an exhilarating boat cruise. You will stay the night and have dinner at your accommodation.

Day 9: Chimpanzee tracking in Murchison falls national park

You will tour the top of the falls today. From here, you will cherish the powerful Nile River. You will see the succession of waterfalls from this view resulting from the force of the fall rumbling through a gap of seven meters only and dropping over a cliff of forty three meters. In the you proceed with the trip to Budongo forest found in the park’s Southern part, and there you will get a great opportunity to track the chimpanzees man’s closest living relative. Later return for dinner and the overnight at your accommodation.

Day 10: Transfer from Murchison falls national park to Jinja

You will have a final breakfast in Murchsion Falls NP and then begin the journey to Jinja. Along the way, you will stop by Uganda’s rhino haven, the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track rhinos. The purpose for this park was to reinstate the rhinos across the country. You will then continue to Jinja having lunch en-route. Dinner and the overnight at your accommodation

Day 11: Explore Jinja and the source of the Nile

You will spend the entire day within Jinja. You can go take part in memorable adventure activities such as horseback riding across the Nile, a boat ride to the authentic source of River Nile (the longest river in the world) or taking a village walk, white water rafting, bungee jumping as well as quad biking. You will be transferred to Entebbe International Airport for your outbound international flight or dropped at a hotel of your preference in Kampala.
