3 DAYS LAKE BUNYONYI

A tour to Lake Bunyonyi (place of many little birds) unveils the secrets of the lake that is located in the south western Uganda between Kisoro and Kabale close to the Rwanda border. The lake is at 1,962m above sea level and about 25km long and 7 km wide. The depth of the lake is rumored to vary between 44m and 900m, which if true would make the lake the second deepest in Africa.

DAY 1: KAMPALA TO LAKE BUNYONYI

Leave Kampala for Lake Bunyonyi through Masaka Mbarara road as you enjoy Uganda’s beautiful green countryside. Watch out for the Equator en-route as well as plenty of fresh vegetables and fruits. Make a stopover in Mbarara for lunch. Proceed to Lake Bunyonyi arriving late evening.

Dinner and overnight at supreme adventure park

DAY 2: LAKE TOUR AND VISIT TO THE PYGMY FAMILIES

Early morning after breakfast take a boat for the island tour and get to visit key sites, zip lining, Canoe rides, pygmie families etc. It will be a very adventurous day as you get to learn the history of some of the islands.

Dinner and overnight at supreme adventure park

DAY 3: LAKE BUNYONYI-KAMPALA

Early morning after breakfast transfer back to Kampala. Have lunch en route and if interested make a stopover at the mpabire drum makers. Arrive Kampala in the evening.
